June 20, 2014

We are still hiring as we have several upcoming projects in the local area (mostly in Idaho Falls and the surrounding area) as well as starting to wrap up the Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine project.

The Gold Mine project in Cripple Creek and Victor, Colorado is 77,800 square feet and the project is nearly 100' tall.  This is one of USE's largest projects to date.  This project has encountered a lot of unique weather situations.  For example, the crews have spoken to me about the lightning.  While lightning is an issue regardless of elevation, there the strikes are very fast and close.  This building has a ground elevation of 9,930 feet above sea level.

Here are a few pictures of the job site:

Ames Construction, Inc. is the General Contractor.

There may be a few changes to the look of our blog and website, so keep an eye out for those in the coming weeks.
